Portage resident Jared Muiser likes to play Hoosier Lottery Scratch-offs for the fun and the chance to win money. He typically purchases tickets whenever he stops to get gas or is shopping.

On his way home from his job at FedEx, Jared stopped at a Speedway to buy a few Scratch-offs. He was sitting in his car scratching them when a $5 In the Green revealed that Jared had won.

“At first, I thought I won $10,” said Jared. “But when I finished scratching it and saw I won $75,000, I freaked out!”

Jared immediately told his girlfriend about winning the top prize, and she was as excited as he was about it.

Jared plans to use his winnings to pay a couple of bills and take his family on a vacation.
