Vietnam War veteran Walter Alley likes to play Hoosier Lottery games for entertainment. Most mornings the Kokomo resident stops at Village Pantry to get a Dr. Pepper and a few lottery tickets.

Sitting in his den one day, Walter scratched a $10 Chrome and thought he won $2,500. “I was really happy to think I won $2,500,” said Walter. However, when he looked at the ticket again, he realized he actually won $10,000! “I couldn’t believe it,” he said.

Walter plans to put his winnings in savings.
